GL: 12VDC Hair Dryer

As a newbie to cruising my plan and hope was to keep the boat as simple as
possible.  My wife would like the hair dryer but needs the coffee more. I
will recommend to her how stylish the girls are looking these days in
shorter hair... use the french coffee press on the alcohol stove and have
some of those designer instant brews when away from shore power.

 Backup plan...  install 2000 W inverter... may be a good investment in the
marriage for this hair brained plan.

 I am discovering that there  is very good reason for all the math, science
and opinions about power on the lists.  Thanks for the advice Mac... and
others... it may be as you say free but a lot of good advice (often ignored)
is the result of someones investment of time and money.
