You are exactly right. We are coming into times where it is going to be
necessary for many to learn how to do things themselves. It has been my
good fortune to have that ability and has made it possible for my wife to do
some cruising over the past few years. We envy those that have deep
enough pockets and can afford to pay someone to have everything done
on their vessels, but I am glad now, with times being what they are
today, that I have the abilities I have.
 
The old saying that once they attach the word marine to it increases its value
three fold has always been evident in the boating community. That has come
from the mentality that if you could
afford a boat you had plenty of money and cost should be of no concern to you.
