GL: Chesapeake City C&D Canal Days

We stayed there on our loop trip in 2005. Nice place, very accommodating  and 
well protected. It made a good stopover point between Baltimore and Cape  May.

marina  with staff that will do anything for you. A restaurant on site and  
transportation readily available. They can accommodate almost any size  boat-they

This is a popular staging-point for boats heading down Delaware Bay,  but 
anchoring and dockage is pretty severely restricted from today (Tuesday)  
onwards....
The USCG has special marine restrictions in place, the free  dock is 
cordoned-off, there are temporary buoys in the anchorage, and the  Chesapeake Inn 
Marina reports that they're pretty-much full-up.
In short,  it may be difficult to find a spot here thru Sunday.
Alternatives are  probably anchoring in the Sassafrass and Bohemia rivers to 
the West, and the  Delaware City marina to the East.
