GL: Fuel prices on the Hudson

As of today, June 15, fuel prices in Haverstraw Bay, at the largest marina on 
the Hudson, were:

$4.70 for Texaco unleaded gasoline,
$5.10 for Valvtec diesel.

There were many boats out today, Father's Day, but traveling much slower than 
usual. Of course there were a few yahoos pushing the pedal to the metal, but 
many fewer than on a typical holiday Sunday. During the week, the river is 
almost devoid of pleasure boats. My neighbor's teen aged son, working at a fuel 
dock is disappointed because few boats fill up and tips are smaller than in 
past years. On the plus side, he has almost finished "War and Peace" while 
waiting for customers.
