The Erie Canal is closed, from Lock E2 at Wateford, to Lock E12 past Amsterdam, due to high water. At Waterford the water is right up to the top of the concrete pier wall. I would expect this will all clear up in a day or two, though rain is expected today .... Fred Tug 44
