GL: Dinghy Numbers

I tried the MDR kit on my Hypalon Achilles. I followed the
directions carefully and don't know what went wrong but
the paint did not stick to the Hypalon. In fact, it rubbed
off so easily that it was a total failure. Maybe it works well
on a PVC dinghy.

The only good news is that it was very easy to clean up
the mess and rub off what was left of the numbers.

I'm currently using tied-on boards with the numbers and
state registration decal. This isn't completely legal in
most states where the law says the numbers and decal
must be permanently attached.

I think maybe the only sure-fire solution for Hypalon is
to glue on Hypalon letters or some type of laminated
Hypalon-PVC panel and stick the numbers on the PVC.
Defender sells these products.
