Just finished cruising parts of the Cumberland and Old Hickory lake for three weeks with 4 grandsons.? What a hoot!





Fuel cost are a concern, but it is just numbers and we will figure it out.? I can get 2 mpg at 9 mph so for every 100 miles we use 50 gals of fuel. We anchor out or stay at Marinas more than before to let our income match our fuel burn. ? 100 miles is a long way at 9 mph and at that speed our saloon windows are filled with the changing riverbanks and views of the creatures that live here.? I sit on the flybridge with my feet up, autopilot on, my diet coke in the helm cupholder, under shade of the bimini, listening to classical music and the Cats gently humming while watching the riverbanks go by.? What fuel cost?





We plan to go home in Sept to Montana for hunting season, leave Nashville for Houston in Nov.? We will go up the Cumberland, down the Ohio and Mississsippi to the Athchaflaya and Morgan City then via the ICW to Houston for Christmas.?
