The B and B is at the free public dock in Canajoharie. Construction on the
bridge continues to repair damage from the 2006 flooding. The town, however,
seems to have recovered quite well.
The new Arkell Museum is a short walk from the docks and has a Wyeth Family
exhibit including works by His father NC and Son Jamie. The admission is
$7.00 for adults and $5.00 for seniors, 62 and over. Well worth going to. A
Winslow Homer starts Monday, July 21st.
There is a Farmer's Market (started in 2008) held every Saturday, May 10 to
November 1, from10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Arkell museum parking lot. It is
small but had fresh produce, eggs, flowers, meat and assorted canned goods -
jams, pickles, etc.
We are slowly wending our way west and plan to cruise the finger lakes and
then store our boat, which is still for sale, in Brewerton at Winter Harbor.
