GL: cheap fuel

I did this for 6 years with my fishing boat that used regular gasoline.
I carried jugs of gasoline to the boat and always saved a min. of $.50
per gallon. That added up to saving a lot of money at the end of the
year. In that case, I was using the boat local to my home and stored the
jugs in my shed/garage at home.

Using 4 - 5 gallon fuel jugs and a 6 gallon outboard tank, I can fill up
with two trips to the local gas station (probably not practicle if you
have a 1000 gallon tank). Assuming reasonable generator use, this gives
me about 250-350 mile range (2 - 18 gallon built in tanks and a 6 gallon
outboard tank, plumbed with a 3 way valve plus the 5 gallon fuel jugs.).
