GL: Overcharging at boat yard.

When it seems clearly like a scam, I had to do this once. Wrote a check,  got 
in the water and left, stopped payment on the check, wrote a new one for 10%  
over the estimate. End of that story. You may need to consider if there is 
some  legitimate reason for the extra charges. If so, include that in the 
replacement  check. Just because they PO'd you, don't play the same game.
