Dan,

Give some thought to how you will handle the lines when locking single
handed. I am not sure about the deck space or cleat arrangement. Of course
an extra cleat can be added in the right place if necessary.

Also make sure the boat has fuel capacity to give you the range you need.
There will be times when you may need to travel 200+ miles between fueling.

Of course all the usual advice about watching weather etc.
