GL: Meander is on the Loop

Meander (Albin 36 Trawler) started the Loop on June 29, 2008 from Shelter Island, New York. We sailed Long Island Sound, the East River around New York City, Hudson River to Troy, New York. On board was Ron and Marji and Coco (our Yorkie). We will leave Troy this afternoon and go through the Government Lock then Lock up into the Erie Canal.

For any Loopers interested we paid $5.20 per gallon of Diesel in Troy at the town dock. They were asking $5.27 however discounted for us since we stayed a couple of nights.
