GL: PRices on Boca Grande

Steve and Sterling have complained about prices in Venice and Boca Grande in SW FL. Are you surprised? Boca has always been sky high and with the type of residents on the island they needn't worry about the economy! They could care less if you stop there.  I love the place however, but no longer live in the area. That's why so many boats go into the bayou and tie up to the mangroves...that's free! As to Venice...who knows? That's why it is useful to belong to a participating FL Council of Yacht Clubs...club...if you live in FL or spend enough time there...you get one free night in any FL Yacht Club. FL has a LOT of coastline thus a LOT of yacht clubs!
