GL: maybe good news?

Just left Venice free dock a few days back, and noted the marina at the  
inlet was empty. I called, and they were offering slips, at ridiculous prices  for 
a transient. 
 
Maybe they will catch on, most of us won't pay those exorbitant fees! The  
empty slips in the winter speak for themselves! Serves em right.
