" EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT PLACING THE NAME AND HAILING PORT ON

THE BOTTOM OF THE DINGHY DOES NOT RELIEVE THEM OF THE

REQUIREMENTS TO HAVE THE HULL PROPERLY MARKED".

This says that if the hull is marked properly you have complied with the
requirements. Now on the bottom of the dink and not on the hull then you
haven't complied.

Has anyone been sighted with the hull marked properly and the dingy blocking
some or most of the hull markings? Not just hearse but someone that has
been sighted.

Here in NC the Coast Guard would be busy all day every day if they were to
enforce this as stringent as it is being stated here.

Anyone?
