GL: PROPER DISPLAY OF NAME AND HAILING PORT

I agree.  It is very easy to rig some way to clearly
display your boat name (and port) on the bottom of
your dinghy when you use Weaver davits.  Many cruisers
already do this and all should for safety and
courtesy....even if the name and port are also on
one or both sides of the boat.

Having the name and port on the side(s) of the
boat may comply with narrow minded laws and
some of the people who enforce them, but a clearly
marked name and port on the bottom of the
dinghy (as well as permanently elsewhere)
would we better for safety and courtesy.
