Well I have been sitting here in my office today, its being cold in the low
thirties in Nashville Tennessee, watching all these emails fly about
advertising so I figured that I would stick my two cents in here to see if
its worth anything.

Our boat is sitting in Panama City enjoying the nice warm winter while its
owners, myself and my wife freeze here in Nashville. We had originally
thought of taking the boat to Ft. Myers for the winter, but do to our moving
it was decided to leave it some where along the panhandle, well low and be
hold we pulled into Bay Pointer Marina and met Steve Arndt, the harbor
master, y'all know him he was at the rendezvous at Joe Wheeler, well through
his advertising we were able to save over $200 per month to stay with him.
This is a really first class marina, the cost is about $435 per month and
that also includes power, so I guess my point is that advertising does help
not only the advertiser but also the consumer, that being us the boater. It
was through being a member of the AGLCA that we were able to enjoy this
discount. So if we can do this advertising on a professional basis then let
it continue. We the users of email have the ultimate final say and that is
to move the cursor to the x button on the top and delete any thing that we
want, so what seems to be the rub?
