As I read the latest Notice to Mariners, the rule that applies to the
area you will be traveling essentially affects only to vessels over
65 feet and west of longitude W80 51.6. The rule states vessels must
travel at less than 10 knots and must not knowingly approach a right
whale within 500 yards. Not a problem for most trawlers, but could
affect sportfishermen. Read all the gory details here:
