GL: dogs in the Bahamas

I will let others give the on the ground experiences with the dogs, however,
you need to quickly begin the process of getting an import permit for the
dog (we have a bird).  Price is cheap $10 but you must get the application
form and Fed Exp it to Nassau.  For a fee they will fax it back to you.  You
then need to have each dog examined by a US vet who must sign the US form
for an international health certificate.  This must be physically sent to
that states US Agricultural Vet office who will countersign. (Believe the
fee is $24).  All of this takes time.
