GL: Loop advice received

Larry,  You probably have received too too much advice by  now.   Anyway, 
here is my 2 cents.       
Most loopers seem to agree that the best part of the Loop is Georgian  Bay 
and North Channel......therefore...    
I would start in Ithaca, take the Erie Canal to Oswego, cross Lake  Ontario, 
and take in Thousand Islands.   Next comes Trent Severn,  Georgian Bay and 
North Channel as far as Blind River.
 
Now my suggestion is to turn around at Blind River by crossing over to  
Meldrum Bay and Gore Bay then back to Killarney.    
 
Head south from here to Tobermory and back to the USA at Detroit,  
Put-in-bay, Cleveland (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!), Buffalo and back to  Ithaca.
