GL: Loop advice needed.

Larry, you are absolutely right, this would cover the prettiest part of the loop.
   
  That said, the best time to do the T-S, Georgian Bay, North Channel leg is in September because the mosquitoes and flies seem to disappear after Labor Day. (maybe they go back to school!)
   
  In the six times I have cruised the North Channel, all in September, I have never encountered the bugs that others say plague them in the summer months.
   
  The weather has always been acceptable, as well. That would be a good place to spend the third month of his cruise.
   
  BTW, I have now moved to Weehawken, NJ and have my boat at the Haverstraw Marina. Thanks again for your good advice on choice of marinas and the Hudson river.
