Unfortunately I suspect marinas would not adopt this rational approach
as it would potentially shift liability for a spill to them since they
provided the device. I imagine this could be solved by signing a waiver.
Might be good for the lawyers though. We need more litigation in this
country.

Instead of all?us thousands of boaters buying these, it sure does seem
like this device is one of those things that the fuel dock should have
in their inventory and let each boater use when they fuel up ! Wouldn't
that go a long way towards preventing all those accidental/incidental
burps of fuel at the end of each fueling ??
I do know who is responsible for those fuel spills - I'm just suggesting
a partial?solution.
