Tim, et al:

I agree with the idea of marinas having the No-spill 
device.  However, when we bought one we discovered the decorative 
grooves in our "imitation wood" fiberglass hull precluded the 
bottle's suction cups from sticking to the hull.  That meant we had 
to hold the bottle over the vent manually.  Sort of unsatisfactory 
compared to just being ver-r-r-y careful and holding a rag over the 
vent near the "full" sound.

By the way, our boat was a Monk 36.
