Dear Mr. Levesque:

You  previously  emailed me about your concern over the Thruway Authoritys
cut back of the hours of usage of the Canal.

I  was as incensed as you when I heard of it.  Because of the outcry of the
public  and  Legislators  like  myself,  the Thruway Authority reversed the
position  and  moments  ago  announced  that  the  canal  will be open from
Memorial Day to Labor Day from 7 am to 10 pm., as it had been in the past.

 Good afternoon,


 I am sending this email on behalf of Mr. Tom Pirro from Winter Harbor
marina.


 I want to express our disappointment about you new regulation on the new
canal hours and fees, hours being our main concern.


 We boaters, like to travel early in the morning, so these new hours do not
satisfy us and we would like you to think again about this decision.


 Being from Canada and being the Commodore of our marina, I think I can  speak
for many Canadian boaters to let you know our concern on this  subject.


 We understand it is reasonable that we pay our share for the maintenance  of
the equipments you let us use. Again, our main concern is the new  hours.


 My mother tongue being French, I hope youll excuse me if I made a few
errors.
