GL: Staying near Rochester

Why not stay canalside in Fairport? Several hundred yards of the canal in the 
small downtown area have been set aside for boat docks. The last time we were 
there, visiting relatives, we stayed for several days without charge. 
Shopping and eating are very convenient and the town is extremely hospitable to 
boaters.
