GL: Western Erie Canal - place to stop near Rochester

Both Fairport and Pittsford are good stops, Fairport being nicer.
Also nearby are Palmyra and MidLakes Navigation marina at Macedon.

Looking for recommendation as to a place to stay on the
Erie Canal for 3
or 4 nights near Rochester, preferably east near Pittsford
or Fairport.
We will be in a Krogen 42 (15' beam and 4' 7" draft)

We will
be staying on the boat but visiting friends and family.
