GL: Cell phone on the loop

We use Sprint and had fairly good coverage on our trip in 2005. I can only  
expect that it has gotten better since then. Of course we had no coverage in  
Canada and the lower Tombigbee was spotty. We did pick up a Verzion wireless  
card while in Brewertown NY and that coverage was about equal to  Sprint.
