GL: Fall Rendezvous

Liz and I can't wait for you all (y'all) to get to our home waters for the
Fall Rendezvous. Kelly (the dockmaster at Wheeler Lodge) asked me to pass on
the following information:

 
1. Wheeler will have a courtesy van to take people to the grocery store in
Rogersville. 
2. If anyone needs a rental car, Enterprise (256-232-5898) will bring one to
the marina. 
3. If you are on the waiting list for a slip, there may be some space on the
courtesy dock (no power). If you are interested, call Kelly @ 256-247-6971.
Also there are plenty of good anchorages in the Marina embayment, and the
dinghy dock is right in front of the hotel. 

If you are on the waiting list and prefer to keep your boat at a marina, the
two closest ones are: Florence Harbor (MM 256 RDB) 256-768-1299  or Bay Hill
Marina (MM 287 RDB) 256-729-1322. 

Last but not least - There is still some space available if you would like
to take the Friday tour to Huntsville. Last year's attendees seemed to have
a blast, and we did too. Just call or e-mail AGLCA for reservations. 

Now that we've completed the Loop, we are feeling Looper-deprived and can't
wait to see you at the Rendezvous.
