GL: Champlain Canal low water alert

Between Champlain Lock C3 and C4 the water level is soooo reduced,
apparently
for dam repairs, there is a MAXIMUM of 8 feet or LESS right
now.

There is
NO notice to mariners on this, so ya have to take my word for it and I have no
clue how long this condition will exist.

The tour boat Emita II with 6 foot
draft bumped the bottom in the middle of the channel.

This is all from
about 20 minutes ago.
