David,
Depends on how fast your boat is.  The loop is between 5000 and 7000 miles 
depending on what option you take, so for example if you take a typical 
route of around 6000 miles, and you cruise at about 8 statute miles per 
hour, then you will put on about 750 hours on your engine.
