GL: Angelo's Towhead

I do not have a great deal of experience with Angelo's Towhead but I suspect
that whether it is a good anchorage is dependent on river conditions.
In June I had planned to overnight there, but found the water level too low.
I made 2 or 3 attempts from different approaches but finally gave up and
went elsewhere. A friend with a similar draft (4') had anchored there less
than a month earlier with no problem so I fully expected to do the same. But
conditions change, sometimes rapidly. One of the problems is that there is
not another good anchorage nearby, at least not one that I am aware of.
We were faced with an approaching storm and rapidly failing light. We spent
the night secured along side a work barge that was tied to the bank just a
bit up the Ohio R. That night we were treated to a spectacular lightning
show with the thunderstorm.
