Charles, it is a shame that you can't consider that others DO enjoy the
trip, even if they go faster than you do. You obliviously did not take time to
look at or read our site or you would know it was a very enjoyable trip. No, we
did not do the Rideau Canal, but we plan to return and enjoy that area and
some others next summer. What we did do was spend our time enjoying the sights
and the many great folks we met along the way. We now have the luxury of
having a preview of the trip and know some favorite places we look forward to
visiting again on our next go around, or partial go around if that be the case.
So, take your time and enjoy your trip, just loose the attitude that your
way is the only way. Others can have just as much enjoyment doing what they can
with what they got available time wise. There are lots of folks who never do
more than dream of going. We at least have gone, and greatly enjoyed it. Life
circumstances and health permitting, we will do all or parts of it again.

David,

It really depends on if you want to just do the Circle or enjoy it.

We have spent almost exactly 12 months on it and have 5400 plus miles and
are not yet half way through.

For many , if not most that is the full trip. I do not have my log with me
rt now but I think we put abt 500 hrs on the engines so far.

For instance, we did the Rideau Canal in Canada that is 125 miles long---we
spent 3 weeks!
