* Don't over-quote. Include only the specific information you're
responding to, and chop out the rest.  As a general rule, your reply 
should almost
always be longer than what you include from the original post.

Thanks a lot, Mike, for reminding Listees of the need to snip quotes.

I'm a digest subscriber, as hundreds of Listees are. For us, it's a 
real pain to have to scroll through the same quotes over and over and 
over again.

You are right, Mike, the material quoted should almost always be 
shorter than the new materail posted. Hell, much of the time you 
don't need to quote at all as the subject lines provides the 
continuity!
