GL: Cicago River bridge problem

Problems have been reported of no communication with the
Conrail(Amtrack) RR bridge(#5-page 127 0f the Illinois Waterway
chartbook-just past the 18th St bridge)-listed 10.5' above pool stage
for vertical closed clearance. Bridge should answer on 16 or 12 VHF.
If no contact, the Coast Guard gave me the tel. # of the bridge;-(312)
655-3755. If you still have a problem, call the CG. on VHF. Skipper
Bob has channel 13 VHF, but CG advised 16/12.
