GL: Web Site Help

I think what Ken is proposing to do (have a website or blog) while 
traveling the Great Loop is an excellent idea.  I believe that keeping 
the list updated with info about new/significant developments about his 
website or blog will be a plus for the list and I look forward to it.  I 
believe that general , high level discussions about where to create 
websites and blogs is good for the list.

However, I don't think the significant number of emails that could be 
required to get someone up and running with a website is appropriate for 
the GL list.  I don't believe that "detailed discussions" (from my post) 
including, for instance, how to add a picture link or make thumbnails or 
any of the myriad number of issues that can come up when  building a 
website or blog is appropriate for an extended discussion on this 
list.   I am not faulting Ken for his lack of knowledge, I applaud his 
desire to learn and share. 

That is why I asked that detailed discussions of building a website or 
blog be continued off-list.
