GL: S.C. Taxes

Capt. Bob:

Many states tax as you report SC does, including my home 
state.  However, you don't mention the applicability of the tax to 
non-residents of SC.  I assure you nobody wants to be exposed to a 6% 
tax on their boat just because they came to SC and spent money for a 
few months.

SC has some great places, but not worth 6% of boat value per year.  Ridiculous.
