Keep in mind that the Skipper Bob booklets only cover the Great Loop. A
great deal of your trip will be off that loop.

I'd highly recommend the Waterway Guides for the areas of your planned
trip that they cover (not sure if they cover the St. Lawrence, but they
certainly cover the east coast up through Maine. We found them
invaluable last summer on our cruise to Maine.

In Maine you'll also want "A Cruising Guide to the Maine Coast" by Hank
and Jan Taft & Curtis Rindlaub. In a phrase, it's thorough and an
excellent source of information (but it only covers Maine). There are so
many harbors and anchorages that it takes a big book to cover them all.

The Maptech Chartbooks will provide the chart info you need for the US
part of your trip. They have enough detail for any place you'll be going.
