That is an ugly anchor Ralph!....but you made up for it on the pilot house
helm chair! Good balance. Nice boat!
If your anchor is rusty and is streaking your boat, wire brush it off and
apply Corroseal http://www.corroseal.com/ Even if it is just a little rusty
this works great. I buy mine from a guy in Louisiana. I keep a 5 gallon
container. It converts the rust and acts as a primer. You can put any kind
of paint over it you want, including epoxy. I use it a lot on my res/comm
construction projects like metal rails etc. On my 34' boat trailer, as the
primer under the epoxy and paint coatings. I have used it on a 56' steel
boat hull sides where pitting had started and then used Interlux 2 part
polyurethane paint...lasted years with no more rust penetration. This is
great stuff and much better that any rust converter you can buy at the
hardware stores.

Hey, if you really think your anchor is ugly, spray paint it for about $5.
Otherwise, you are putting perfume on a pig.
Now here is my VERY UGLY anchor...which I love !
