GL: Anchor Refurbish

Hello All,

Another project for the winter months here in MN.  I want to clean, and
refurbish the finish on my plow anchor.  It is in good shape, however the PO
never cleaned it up, and it really needs one.  My main question is once I have
it all cleaned up is there any way to seal, and finish the anchor, or would it
just be best to have it re-galvanized ?  Just finished replacing the windlass,
and 200' of anchor chain, so this is the last item in the system, and don't
want to skim at this time.
