GL: Red tide

There is minimal red tide.  I went to Apalachicola and back on the ICW within
the last few days (fast boat)--There were a few dead fish in the Destin, Fort
Walton Area.  Minimal in Pensacola and the ICW--none in Perdido Bay
(currently--I live on the bay).

I cannot comment on Mobile Bay, but with the cooler weather (in the 50's at
night) and fresh water from the rains, it will be mostly at the salt water
interface--and not far up the bays, unless we get strong South winds.

There was no problem with the Apalalichola Oyster population--We ate them last
weekend.  The chamber of commerace is very careful about that, as is the
health department.  (The sec of the chamber was at our gathering).
