Good afternoon: We have been reading the postings about the Okeechobee
area with interest as we are currently on the Loop. We have heard of the
low water on the Okeechobee, but no one has commented about whether the
locks are open.
Someone mentioned to me verbally that if the lake levels were extremely low,
that the locks would not be used b/o loss of water in the FL water table.
