Pablo,

The security  call is not for the CG but to warn others in the path of the 
offender. Of course it puts him on notice that he is now being watched. In 
my experience I have seen it slow them ------ on occasion.
Makes me feel better anyway.

Remember that if you get the name of the vessel and it is Documented you can 
get on line and determine the owner and his address!!! In my case, at 
Waterloo,NY it was a delivery crew out of Wisconsin!!!!!
