Spray 9 is definitely in my cleaning kit. However,
I have been unsuccessful in finding the "regular"
Spray 9. The so-called "Marine Spray 9" which is
available at West Marine is much more expensive.
I used the last of my gallon of the stuff this past
weekend and sure hope I can find the cheaper
stuff! The "Power Boat Reports" publishers wrote
that the regular and marine products were identical.
(Boy, I sure miss that newsletter!)

It works wonders on spider poop, and also on
mildewed vinyl upholstery. Be sure to rinse it
off very quickly and thoroughly, as it will discolor
some paint and vinyl bootstripes.

While at Green Turtle Bay, diligently cleaning my dinghy, a
young man walked by and said "you need to use Spray Nine!"
Off to the store I went. And, yes, he was right. The dinghy
almost looks like it came off the showroom floor. Several
local boaters have used it on their fenders and while it
depends on the level of "dirtiness", one might need to do
some scrubbing or use some softscrub after the initial
cleaning. After cleaning, I use a coating of Pledge sprayon
wax to seal the dinghy and fenders.? Use gloves!!
