Hi John,

My post was only addressing the problem of getting back to the MOB and
getting flotation to them. As you obviously know, once youre back there and
made contact, getting the MOB on board is a whole nother can of worms.

If you dont get back fast and get flotation to the victim to keep them
alive and afloat, you will never face the recovery on board problem. As
such, my first priority is to get flotation to the victim  and Ive found
the Life Sling is the slow way to do that, putting the life of the MOB at
stake.

The subject of recovery on board is worthy of a separate thread of its own.
