GL: Another rough Gulf crossing, captain missing.

This is the exact reason we did not venture out where we did not need to be. 
We did always did the big bend of Florida instead of the crossing all at 
once.  There can be a storm hundreds of miles out to sea and it can effect 
the waves on the Gulf.  Sneaky thing, that weather! What a shame that a man 
was lost
