Jane,
The best small boat for a single-hander to do the Great Loop that
we've seen is the C-RANGER 25 Trailerable Trawler. It is 8.6 ft
wide, and comes with a 135hp diesel engine, bow and stern thrusters,
air conditioning & heater. Well designed and seaworthy. We saw the
boat at the Annapolis Power Boat Show and were most impressed!!! We
do not work for the company and/or for a dealership, but we have
completed the Loop and part of the Erie Canal.
