GL: The Big Bend

I am curious to see if any current Loopers are making the trip along the Big Bend of FLA or if they are making the long crossing.  Folly Draws 4.5 ft and I have heard lots of differing info on water depths getting into some of the harbors and rivers along the Big Bend.  Because there are two of us and we aren't inclined to make the long crossing I really would prefer the longer more scenic trip along the bend.

If you have any recent info and suggestions on making that trip I would be very grateful.  We are interested in in dockage or anchorages along the way.
