I've been thinking about Jim Fidler's request for  artwork of the Great Loop. I would suggest Jim, you tell me what kind of art you like, something terribly realistic (ugh!) or something more 'impressionistic'. There's good stuff and really bad stuff out there! I am an artist, I do pastel landscapes and took tons of photos so I could paint the Loop myself for myself, but have not done so yet. I did not complete the loop but have done a very large part of it. If you'll tell me some of your favorites I'll check my files and see what I come up with. I will not be able to paint until after the first of the year though. Otherwise, have you thought of photo enlargements? Also, size is important!
