That policy is alive and well here in the Boston area. I just, last week,
purchased a SS BBQ for a friend and looked on line 1st. When I went into
West, the clerk said lets check the web; he did, printed the competitors
advertised price (there was free shipping), and charged me exactly that
price; no problem.
