We had our boat soda blasted this spring through our marina by Mid Atlantic
Soda Blasting. The cost was $1800 with moving the boat to put down the mat
and then removing it and then one more time to complete all the painting. I
did the sealing and painting. I was very happy with the job.
Enviornmentally it was very clean and it was friendly to the gel coat. The
blasting and cleanup were done in one day. I would spend the extra money to
do it this way again. By the way we have a 1980 M I and it most likely was
the first time it was cleaned to the gelcoat in 27 years. When we pulled it
this fall I was very proud of how great it still looks. Bob Christopher
